I’m sitting with 20 NR Moose points, I’m strongly considering going for it this year. Looking for an outfitter recommendation. At this point in my life I’d prefer a cabin or lodge over camping.

Haven’t looked into it lately but the biggest moose used to come from the Bighorns

Check with Beaver Trap Outfitters out of Dayton, WY. Ross Adney is the outfitter and you will hunt in Area 1, if you can draw. His hunter killed a B&C bull this year and so did his good buddy. I also pm'd you.

I would say you don't need an outfitter to get a great moose in Wyoming. Some cabins for rent also in prime moose country, FS has cabins scattered around. Moose are doing well in some areas and in decline in others. Call some biologist to inquire about the herds in areas you're interested in.
