Funny you say that dth I only see them in the AM in zone 10. There has been fewer and fewer sightings for me in the last 3 years tho

I see them often hunting hear in Zone 11. Had one sitting in my stand in NY as I was climbing up one time. That was interesting!

I went for a walk to pull a stand this am and saw a fisher .I pulled one of my favorite stands on the edge of a big marsh and it was a gorgeous morning for a walk.

I had one start to climb a tree I was hunting from years ago. He was curious about me. I had to yell at it to get it to go back down. He did, reluctantly.
