Let's see a picture of your favorite spot. Where everything negative escapes you, and you are intoxicated by nature. Here is mine.
Overlooking any swamp!

Not Bow hunting related but my Favorite place in WI is the Brule River and its wild fish. My hunting places all over the CNF would be my second then our cabin by Phillips.
LOL, so the NutJobs on the site are sabotaging threads with Pics when you try to link a photo. Boy, that realy hurt, LOL.
Anyone else with photo issues?
Sorry about the fish pictures, but here is a shot of our cabin. It's literally 5-6' off the water.

Yep, Some Ting Wong with my photo Add-Ons. Someone has too much time on there hands to link photos of themselves to other peoples threads. Here is another try of the Brule.
Yep, that one worked.
The same place I call home. I consider myself very lucky to have.
Wow, love the cabins guys!
This is one of my favorite spots on my back 40 at home...
Oh, and I believer the random photo thing is just a Bowsite glitch that happens sometimes when people are posting photos simultaneously. It's nothing to be paranoid about...
From my from stand two years ago, I miss seeing this old Birch but now it's gone.
Great places. The smells alone make us forget what ails us. Nice photos guys.
My cabin in NW WI. 10 miles from our hunting land.
This place and church for me.

My place of peace is actually a golf course and not the woods. I can just about forget any problem I have for the time that I’m on a course. Don’t get me wrong, I love the woods and have hunted some beautiful areas. My son and I have even picked out a hunting spot for him to dump some of my ashes when I die. But... when I need to compose my thoughts or just simply escape the world for a while I head to my nearest golf course. An 18hole walk is the most calming thing for me.
That's our house in the background.

The Three Lakes chain of lakes. I've been going up there for 50+ years. Our place on the chain is heaven to me in all seasons. Chasing Ski's is my real passion.
I love being able to put out tip-ups in front of the house and watch them from the picture window. Awesome crappie fishing right in front too!
Hey happygolucky, do you know if Mark Briggs still owns Briggs Bar up there?
CM, I can't say. I don't frequent there. We go mostly to Jake's and Tavern on the Loop. We do stop in at Sunset Grill though as well which is right there.
edit: I made a call up there and Mark does own the bar still. It is not open often but does open for pool and dart leagues still.
Crusader dad
is that SentryWorld?
Keep them coming. Some great places of solitude!

10pntbow, YES! I was wondering if anyone would recognize it. I get to play there once in a while but it’s a long drive for me. Fun course though. I was less than two inches from a hole in one last time I played that hole. (7 iron teed up high, full swing into the wind with just a slight draw)
Crusader dad - beautiful course. Play it once a year.
One of my favorite spots near my back door.

I got to learn how to post photos,,,,, mine is my cabin in the UP,,,, and although I spend a lot of time, on the "other Brule", I have a secret spot on Never Mind Creek, where I see no one all season, except nature and the brookies, and the quiet
Live2hunt: I believe I have fished in front of that cabin, what a great spot. We have a cabin in the Town of Highland 2 miles from Stones Bridge.
Gods Pocket. On the ID NV border . I have 88 lbs on ny back & I'm headed to that wall of rock 4 miles in front of me. Its late August & 97 degrees . I have everything I need for week .
Over the years we killed a bunch of Big Mulies . Got buried by a 2 foot snow storm , Attacked by wild horses & fllowed by Mtn Lions .
A special bowl at 9500 feet that was full of Quakies & 2 pot holes full of water .
Wacem, sorry for the confusion, but that cabin pic is on a lake in Price County. The Brule pic is between Mays Ledges and Selk's or Rapala's cabin if you know that area. I can think of a few old cabins on the brule that are close to the water. The one that you may be thinking of has a sauna right next to the water. I wish I had a cabin on the Brule, what a gorgeous area, love that valley.
Ruger, that's not the Idaho I've hunted. Yep, I think them Mountain Lions follow you everywhere. We noticed it one time when we had snow. Everyone had lion tracks in there tracks.
I agree . Those big cats have an attitude . Yea the south end of ID go's from dense forest to desert . Completely different from North & Central . Sadly Its not as Good hunting as 30 years ago .
Heres a closeup of the back side during a Nov gun hunt .
Sitting against an oak tree on this ridge on a sunny spring morning calling turkeys. Does it get much better? Nope.
Gotta love the time in the backcountry!

It would be by my shack up in Oneida county.
My patch of dirt in Dunbar. Babbling creek and all. So peaceful.
