Not one of those posted. Most either over scrape drippers, rattled in or funnels etc. A few are before baiting was legal in CT. One Harvested sitting overlooking some apple trees another feeding on acorns on an oak ridge, natural bait seems to work the best as they seem to approach less wary. Not sure if you count that as baiting. One I snort wheezed in. Not gonna lie one was a gun buck that came in chasing does that I shot at 75 yds 2 years ago. But other than that Besides this year I haven’t harvested any of the big boys over bait, and I think that was because this was the first year that I tried hunting from a ground blind on that particular property. The big bucks don’t get big by being dumb, they cirlcle bait piles and try to get downwind of you to pick you off. The also know what happens around bait piles as most of the big boys have either been shot at or shot and wounded over bait piles and become very wary of them. They have learned to look up and scan trees before approaching the bait and lock up around 75 yds out. Sure ya can still shoot some ok bucks over bait 2.5-3.5 year olds as I have harvested quite a few of those over the years but I prefer more of a challenge now and pass those bucks in hopes they make it and I can harvest them in following years.

Sorry bud but you living in la la land if you think we have 60 dpsm. You missed that by about a decade or 2. Most areas are around 20-25, some hard hit areas are 12-15. Heck Alabama deer there are worse than roaches. You can kill 2 per day all season in some zones.

I'll take lessons from either of you guys! You have way too many "once in a lifetime" bucks hanging on the wall. Very jealous.
Seeing those kinds of pics keeps you interested in finding out what's out there?? Over the next ridge? Around the next bend? It's a great challenge to take up after one particular buck.

BBB it’s an obsession.... 24x7x365. I’m off for the next 3 days and headed out now to do some shed hunting and scout some new areas, that looked good vía topo maps. Should be able to log some miles and hopefully be able to make something work for next season.
