Anyone else catch this breaking news. CWD is actually caused by a bacteria. This Spiroplasma a genus of Mollicutes(bacteria without cell walls) may have a cure in as little as 12 months intresting.

Dr. Bastion's website is just a self serving website to promote his "theory".
There are many researchers in the field of prion research and none of Bastion's results have ever been duplicated in another lab. Validity in scientific research depends on the ability of others to duplicate and reproduce results.
I have been a student of prion disease for a number of years and have read a lot of the research published on CWD and related prion disease. I also have been in contact with several researchers over the years and not one of them has ever referred to Bastion or his papers as having any relevance.
IMHO, the recent publicity of Dr. Bastion's research is to garner more funds from deer hunters and their supportive organizations.
