Great thread Thornton! The in focus photos are great. Thanks for sharing. Looks like there are are plenty of turkeys for the ole 12 gauge come opening of gun season. I wish you good luck. Please post your success photos once it starts. I really like the photos with the dogs. They are the best hunting companions you could ask for. Have fun bud.

Looks like a creek to me... Nice stringer of crappie! My boy tried to catch some crappie over the weekend. Didn't catch a single one but did drag home a 7lb bass.

The snow goose hunting was slow, so what’s a guy to do other than catch a mess of crappie? Nothing beats a fish fry in the pit blind!

My next few days off, I'm going to try for some walleye or crappie at Eldorado. Frank, that is a white bass from the river. Caught a few small Kentucky bass and a largemouth as well but they were small.

Quinn- They split up. Saw a big one by himself crossing the road south to OCR a few days ago. They won't stay unless some hens show up. Slate- If I hunted with him we'd probably have a hunting accident...
