Anybody Know of any good small trout streams in the Woodstock or Thompson area?

Look in the fishing guide. Many trophy trout streams in the area like the natchaug river. Some catch and release areas too.

Dom, check the CT regs, I think a bunch of the state stocked streams are closed till mid April at this point... But the TMA waters may still be open and some others. Hit up the DEEP site to verify...

Rich, You can fish in the Trout management areas all year, generally catch and release from after August 31 to opening day of regular trout season.
