Any suggestions on which public land I should start scouting. This will be my first year hunting turkey

maybe try your deer hunting woods. Birds you see around these parts, 30 other guys have seen them too. get out away from the "easy looking" spots.. you will have company. bigger woods in the granby, south amherst, ludlow areas....
