Next weekend at the Wildlife League of Ohio County, 1814 Wildlife Rd, Valley Grove WV.
Jimmy,,,If'n I don't work Saturday, we'll be down.
Pretty sure Banjo and his family gang is heading over Saturday to meet up with Ron Raymond. If I'm also not working, I think I may be riding with them....
Yeah they always make it to the shoot. We appreciate that. And Ron has so many great stories....... Hope you can make it Randy. Jim
Seneca Archer, contact me. Either Bobby or HARRY CARRY know the trail.
Jim: No work Saturday, so I'm riding down with Banjo and Mrs. Banjo in the AM. Looking forward TO SHOOTING and seeing friends!
Flintnocker: Iffn you are going, probably an old Orange Woolrich coat I'll be wearing, and a Don Gearhart recurve in my hands....
Harry I have managed to contact Seneca Archer. Please give my warm regards to those there. Thank you, Sir Orange Coat:) ed
Ed: I'll run into you at another time. But for tomorrow, I'll lose an arrow in your honor. I'll try to make it a good shot doing so....
Just remember what Churchill said. " nothing beats the thrill of being shot at, and Missed" :)
Thanks for another great shoot Jim!
To the Crew of Seneca Archers/Wildlife League of Ohio County: A most excellent event today! AND FOR FOLKS CONSIDERING GOING TO THE SECOND DAY OF THE EVENT, on Sunday.... GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Individual's photos (top to bottom): HARRY CARRY, Banjo's Better Half, Ron Raymond, Banjo, Bernie "Mr. Breeze", Ken Williams Sr.
Group photo: the above, but Kenny realized the lunacy he was shooting with, and took off running back to the edges of reality (singing to himself "Careless Whisper"), thereby missing this highly artistic group photo.
Did Kenny give yunzs any osage logs for me?
Thanks for sharing guys. Some familiar faces there. Brings back fond memories.
RC: he had it in his truck, but he said he'd hold on to it for you. I was riding with Scott, with his gear and stuff in his truck; then would have had to try putting it in my Jeep Liberty after leaving Scott's place, which would not have worked. Worry not, though: sooner or later, it's coming your way....
RC, I also have some interesting staves I think you should have. A couple mind you, it appears my grandson has decided he would like to start on his own bow soon:) Seems my feeble mind has forgotten How, white guy;)
Hey Randy, Scott, Lynda, Ron, Bernie & Ken - I'm glad you all enjoyed the course and we really appreciate your continued support and generosity. All told we had 82 shooters and raised almost $1250. One half will go to the American Cancer Society in memory of MikeChurney, the other half to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation in memory of Tom Davis. Since 2013 Wildlife League has matched the Seneca Archers donation so in essence everyone's donation is matched by the WLOC!!
Thanks for sharing the great photos!! Would you guys be Ok with me sharing them with WLOC's web page/Facebook person for potential posting?
Jim
I think Scott would be OK with that, Jim. (He posted the photos to the "Strictly Sticks Traditional Archers" Facebook page, so, they are already "out there".)
We all are honored to be a part of your Archery benefit, and certainly do look forward to returning for more fun, fellowship, and soaking wet arrows floating down very cold-water creeks!!!!
Thank you to all of the Seneca and WLOC's Crews for hosting a fine shoot!
