A few weeks ago, I had the privilege and honor to attend KAT’s annual Convention and Banquet to judge and award one of their talented artisans with the KBA’s sponsored “Best Of Show” award/plaque.
This organization of artisans truly care about their craft, their membership and their customers. In an attempt to better themselves and their profession it was very clear that they all have a real passion to learn, experiment and share their skills and knowledge.
I came away very impressed with the talent of artisans we have in this state and surrounding states. KAT is truly a first class organization. If you have the need for a mount go to their website and find one of their member taxidermists.
Below are some of the mounts and displays from the Convention for your viewing pleasure.

My son and I were there. We had an awesome time ...some really great people. The 3rd pic from the last is my deer mount ( on the left)and my son's raccoon pedestal mount. My son is 12 and mounted the coon himself. We can't wait until next year.
