Great picture! Seen a few strutting before the snow/rain/sleet/hail/wind/cold. Im hoping to get my daughter out first season depending on the weather. Good luck and keep us posted

A friend arrowed a big Tom just north of the cities this morn.

Saw 5 toms, 3-4 jakes and few hens first morning out. I was in one blind my son and wife were in the other one. About 100 yds between us. All turkeys walking, strutting either out of range or with brush in the way.
Second time out different spot, saw three toms, wouldn't come any closer than 70 yds.
Arrgh!!

Just finished season, 2 years ago I shot one at about 5PM the last day but won't be able to go this afternoon. This morning I saw 4 hens and 14 Gobblers, 9 of them were jakes, the first day I hunted this spot(first week) they came right in and I didn't shoot, today I would have but they kept their distance. Good season as usual, now packing for a bear hunt, leaving tomorrow morning.
