Is it legal in NM?

As far as I know it’s a grey area. Go for it! Just make sure it’s a corner

Nope and it has been through the courtroom and upheld.

The only way a LO can keep you from "corner hopping" is to have their fence sitting literally on the property line which means they encroach on public as well...

HDE is correct once again!

It has not been upheld in NM as far as I'm aware. Has been in other states and some states it's specifically illegal. It's a gray area here and if you do it, be aware of the potential risk should you be confronted and taken to court. I tend to agree with HDE, but in this day and age you can be sued for things that are ridiculous so use discretion.

Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems that corner hopping is more accepted in “blue” states. On the other hand so are wolves...
