The NRC makes laws based on popular opinion.... not sound biological information....
If baiting is illegal in the lower peninsula......because if CWD........
Then why is it legal in the U.P. ??? Legal or illegal...... At least be consistent with it.

I know why they will not ban baiting, in the UP, because the north deer managers, said, in no uncertain terms, 2 years ago, that it has nothing to do, with the spread of CWD, in their opinion, based on what they have seen......
deer consistently have contact with each other, regardless of a bait situation,,,,,,
to be honest know one knows, that is for sure........ I can show you 200 deer right now in Iron County, hitting the fresh grass fields......that is a bigger issue, give out some doe tags,,,,,,
they should go back, to letting you shoot either / or during the archery season
