KBA Prairie Dog Hunt 2019
When: May 4-5, 2019
Where: Near Oakley, KS (See Directions Below)

Event: Hunt as many prairie dogs as you can but you may also find historic artifacts, try some flint knapping or shoot at aerial targets.
Grilling Meat ā Friday Night (May 3rd)
Fish Fry, Onion Rings or Fries ā Saturday Night (May 4th)
Directions from Oakley, KS: From HWY 40 and HWY 83 Junction, Go 11 miles South to Seneca Rd., 7 miles West to 370 Rd. and 8 miles South dead ends at Ranch. Look for KBA signs from HWY 83 Junction to the Ranch.

Seriously, PDs with a bow? I love shooting them with rifles, but doubt Iād ever hit one with a bow.

We always take some, like about a dozen last year. The place has a lot of history, on the head waters of the Smoky Hill where there was a documented 3-day indian attack. Place has cattle and buffalo on it. We always shoot a few rattlers. Some years we pick up some sheds along the dry river.
