Yesterday I stopped to see Bowsitter legend Lame Crowndip. We talked and talked about archery and forestry and a few things in between.
In the end, I got a tutorial on what crown dipping is and how to do it. I was amazed at some of his artwork.
In the end and before I departed LCP said “do you want my supplies?” I was “giddy up”. I am now prepared to start crown dipping. I will take LCP’s advice though, practice on an old arrow first. Great advice. Thanks Lame!!

Here is an example, albeit my picture is out of focus. You can see the passion in the design. It was certainly neat to see.

Some flaws in this one. After all, it went through a bear. Maybe more later.
