I show two $50 pending credit card transactions. Presuming this means snake eyes in the draw. Anyone seeing differently yet?

I show one $100 pending charge (non-res), I opted "in" for sheep and goat, so I guess all I know is I didn't draw one of them. Perhaps it's good news only one charge is showing up, we will see soon.

I didn't buy a point. There is no activity in my account. Guess I'm waiting to be charged or not for a Bighorn tag. I wonder what shows first activity on your account as in awarded or preference Point change or notice of a charge. Anybody have any info on that?

I had one $50 charge at 5 am when I woke up, the second $50 charge just showed up at 9 am so they don't necessarily happen at the same time. Not the best year for me to draw a sheep tag, so not the end of the world

I will say I have drawn and successfully bowhunted both Rocky Mountain and Desert Bighorn sheep so I cant complain here too much. Maybe someone won't pay or turn theirs in and I'll be next in line.

Tim, you are playing with house money! If you really want a goat, you could do it for less than $10K, easily. You're looking at $45,000+ for a Rocky and the same ballpark for a Desert. I'd take your wins over this loss any day of the week.

Looking at my CC, have a pending charge for $50 and another for $301.75...
My CPW account shows a $57 charge for sheep and a $7 charge for goat.
Damnit! Already have one goat on the wall! But not a bighorn...

all smiles, its been a long quest, maybe never happen, Years , I mean years ago, I wanted to be in the top 50 of the big 8 before I was 50! I turned 50 12 years ago.... Ive got all the big eight except rocky mtn sheep,,, BUT I was lucky enough to harvest one only 90 miles from home,,,,, in Utah,,,, yep I got lucky at Hunt Expo in salt Lake a few years ago,,,,, so the colo sheep gods are probably done with this old man!!! bownutco

Didn't draw either tag but the odd thing is I never got the email notification from CPW either ?? Last night at the RMBS event many were talking about their email deliveries...I was hoping that meant maybe I did but confirmed this morning thru the site I didnt. ?? Anybody else?

Looks like points and stats have been updated. Also looks like the huge applicant influx from last year slowed down with the new fees. bighorn apps went from 40,993 to 28,000 and some change. Desert Sheep stayed about flat

Because I'm skeptical of everything I read on line I went and looked. 17,739 1st choice apps in 2017. 28,380 1st choice apps in 2019. Looks like more than a 50% increase due to that stunt CP&W pulled last year. Thanx again for kickin the loyal dogs CP&W!

proving the weighted point system is not working,,, the unit I applied for had 3 tags,,, 117 applications,, the 3 that drew were 3 and 9 weighted, 3 and 5 weighted, and 3 and 4 weighted points,,,, 63 (more than half) people had more weighted points than the 3 with 9 weighted, I did not count how many before 5 or 4 weighted points but this is crazy. I'm glad that these guys drew, but not happy with the system!! bownutco

When the new crowd gets the lions’ share of the permits at 3+0, the system will be exposed. When people decide they are in the draw now at 3+0 and there is no need to buy additional weighted points going forward, as they aren’t as valuable as people believed, does CO change the system to benefit those who have played the game all those years unsuccessfully (not because of fairness but revenue)? I’ll keep getting points with the anticipation that maybe the system will change and instead of being a little screwed at the moment, I’d be even more screwed in the future.

No Desert Sheep tag for me, but good news is next year I can hunt here in Alaska as a resident. Brown Bear permit is $25.
