I checked the moon phase and unfortunately it appears that the main rut will take place in September. Global warming also played into this. So anyone planning hunting during the rut this year should just stay home.

I don't think there will be a rut this year. Once again the NR hunters have ruined everything about deer hunting in Kansas.

I hunted Kansas last year and had a good time. Should draw again this year. It's a nice place to hunt when you can't hunt Iowa or are able to hunt multiple states. :^)

Yea Mike it is a great state to hunt. Deer hunting is awesome, the land is beautiful and I have met a lot of great people. Retiring in Kansas is in my future.
