Bow issue

Looking for some advice guys. My bow is suddenly extremely hard to pull back, this happened almost overnight. I shot a turkey last week and practiced on Sunday, no problem pulling it back. Wednesday I'm out hunting and I start pulling back for a practice draw and I literally can't pull it back. I was eventually able to pull it back after taking off my back pack and a layer, thinking that was the main problem. I got home that night and drew it a few times in a t-shirt, still way more difficult to pull back than it ever has been, to the point that my arms feel like I went to the gym. I've had it cranked all the way down to 60# for years. Do you guys know of anything that could happen to a bow that would suddenly increase the poundage or make it much more difficult to draw? I can't see anything obviously wrong with the bow.

The first thing that comes to mind is that someone is messing with you. The second is maybe a stuck or cracked cable guard

Check the cables and cable guard like still hunter mentioned. Only other thing I can think of is maybe the axle pin going through the cam to the limb is bent?

Measure axle to axle and brace height to make sure it is still in spec. Remote that anything should have changed, but good starting point.

Pete's idea is good. Potentially try to loosen then retighten the limb bolts... But prior to that, I'd really go through it. Part of me wonders if a cable popped off a cam track or some other odd crack or something happened - say crud under the cable slide if it uses one vs pulleys?
Does it move slowly or just tougher to draw? Very funky.

Haha. Drslyr, if I'm losing strength like that at 34 I've got much more serious issues than with my bow.
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll check everything you guys mentioned tonight.
Will, it's certainly moving slower when I pull back, but seems to be shooting just fine. There could be some junk stuck in the bottom cam, it's been on the ground alot this spring while hunting.

Weird, so it shoots ok, it's just harder to draw? it doesnt seem to move the string slower when shooting or letting down? Now I'm perplexed...

I think you might be onto something, pi. Multiple 3am wakeups in a row with just a gronala bar/coffee, then straight to work may not have helped. Still going to look the bow over more thoroughly this evening.

Maybe lube bearing on the cams or something is wedged under cable slide.

Notme, hahahaha hilarious!
Thanks again all. I'll be checking it out shortly. Not that I know how to check all that stuff, but that's what YouTube is for.

Drslyr, it's all worked out. Pi was right, some sort of weird brain fart. I somehow got my form messed up for a couple days and started over thinking the hell out of it. The mind is a strange place.
