Good luck Gobbler. I think I asked you the last time you were out there, but do you have access to private ground or will you be using an outfitter if you draw?

I’m going with a really small family guide service. Last time I hunted for 13 days and was the only hunter. Unless something changes I’ll be be the only hunter last 8 days of my hunt.
I killed a 20 inch 9 pt last time on the 13th day. Not as mature as I had hoped for but by bad luck EHD hit the summer I went and it took a toll on the older bucks. I had 2 in the high 150-160 within 70 yards twice but not close enough to close the deal with a bow. Deer numbers have increased and should be good numbers of 4.5-5.5 year olds around based on year end trail cams this past winter. I’m really wanting something 150+ but we’ll see? It’s still hunting

What zone you going to? I have 3pp, talked to an outfitter in zone 6, he said it usually takes 4pp in zone 5, 3 to 4 in zone 6. I have hunted zone 5 twice, but may look at zone 6 or 9. I also thought about a M/L hunt, but hate to spend 3 pp for it. Bob

I’m going to zone 6. 4 pts SHOULD guarantee a tag in 6. I know what u mean , a late season MZ tag can usually be drawn with a couple pts
