Best elk units

Hello all, I am from CT and I'm hoping some of you could help me out. I got lucky this year and drew a bull elk permit for week 2 firearm. I'm up in the air now as to take the recurve instead being it is my preferred implement. But anyway I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as which units to select for the 2nd drawing? Which would be best to hunt? Thank you very much in advance.

Google Kentucky Elk Guides for some info if you want access to private land. Eastern KY has the better Elk areas. Good Luck on your search.
