Lets keep this at least somewhat related to bow hunting.
I ran across this while weeding out the good game camera pics from the worthless ones. Just seemed cute, she is trying to dig out one burr but has no idea how she will get the one stuck to her ear. Time to put the back foot to work.
Just beautiful

Thanks for the photos guys...I think this thread could turn out to be one of the most interesting posted on the WI Forum. Keep 'em coming!

If you post a picture that ends up sideways please click where it says 'image tools' and then rotate your picture. (you will not see the rotate tool unless you posted the picture)
The rotate function doesn’t work at least from my iPhone which is all I use.
Didn't work for me either on the Cool Find thread

ecanadian, I found it thanks to your tip. Saved the pic and zoomed in on it but it got too grainy to really get a good look.
I think casekiska is right about this being a good thread,
Oleducker, MF and others: I forgot that problem with rotating a pic from an iphone. If you can rotate the pic on your phone before you post it that would be great.
That’s the problem. On my phone they show up correctly when you post to here they are sideways.

I turned this photo on my phone before posting trying to see if it posts correctly.
Thanks for trying Oleduckhunter, that is just crazy.
I just had another thought. Did you save the rotated picture back in your phone before you sent it? Thinking it might have posted what is in memory instead of the rotated one you were looking at. If that even applies to how you do this on your phone.
Is that a "man bun" on the Bobcat`s rear end....

Hey Trap - a good one! Let's hope he's still in your area come Oct. & Nov.
Thanks Case, Actually I prefer this one. He was still holding as of March 12th. Neighbor girl hit him with a 270 and I helper her track for 2 days not knowing where she had hit him until he showed up after a few weeks.
Sometimes when a buck is injured on one side of his body the opposite side antler will be deformed or of a non-typical configuration the following year(s), I wonder if that will happen with the buck you've (Trapper) showed. It will be interesting to see if you get pics this summer or actually get him this fall. We'll stay tuned for the rest of the story.....
With all this rain and the islands are under water people have put out nesting rafts for the loons.

That doe looks really skinny. Looks like the ones that were at my Hayward place after they came back from their winter area.
Jeff, damn near all the deer I have on camera in the UP are looking skinny. Luckily, I have lots of protein growing for them and they are eating it all the time. I don't expect to see may does with multiple fawns up by us.
Ruger,,,,, that is a great photo ,,,,, love it
If she is on my property does that make it open season? This is happening way too often. Her tracks are about 5" deep in the ground. Lots of beef.
Jeff in MN, nothing you can do. Build your own fence. I have become an expert this past year on neighbors beef on my property. The laws were written in the 1950's by farmers to protect farmers. Good luck changing them. Not complaining about farmers just the reality. Spoke with the foremost fence-line lawyer in WI. Crazy but you can do nothing but build your own fence. And no there is no half the fence is only your responsibility. You want them out you build a fence.
Screwball, sad part is about 20 years ago I bought 6 more acres from the farmer who I bought the land my house is on from. Deal was I had to build the new fence on my new land. Which I did, it was a darn good 4 strand barb wire with one of the 4 electric. Then about 8 years ago new owners got the property and tore down one side of the fence I built. Replaced it with 4 strands of high tension wire. He did leave the corner posts that I put in, the only part of the fence that is any good. No discussion, he just did it while I was out of town. He even cut out a huge multi trunk box elder tree on my land. Deer loved to bed down under that tree. I got back and was furious so he left the other common side mostly like I had built it. Well, the tension on the new fence pulls the fiberglass posts out where the fence goes through a low spot and the cattle just walk under it. I had two good wood posts with X wire and a horizontal post to keep the post from pulling out at the low spot. Also instead of coiling up the old barb wire he took off, he bent it all up in a pile of junk. Even if I did redo the fence the cattle would just go through his fence by another neighbors property and then walk over to my place. This has already happened.
The Jordan Buck & I 15 years ago . I brought in tbe top 5 midwest White tails for a new truck show .
Not the best picture. Took it this morning from the tractor. Finally dry enough to plant my sweet corn plot. It was fun seeing the little fawn.

Jeff, I was golfing not fishing. I only fish a couple times a summer because most if not all of my free time is spent at the golf course.
Spent many of hours up at wind point.
Jeff in Mn- Find out if your Town accepted/adopted State Statute 90. If so, go request a fence viewing. In our Town, if a person does not fix or repair a fence when ordered, the Town hires it out and puts it on the offending parties tax bill as a special charge.
Badger, The fence at issue is at my place in Minnesota. Not sure if they have a similar statute.
Some young boar is very horny.
There is no privacy anywhere, not even in the woods. Cameras catch everything now days.
Jigging a wing wall on a local dam tonite . I backed up to net a nice Smallie & heard a hissing sound that scared the heck out of me .
The huge Mama Snapper was 5 feet hi on the fence trying to get out .
I helped her escape & went back to fishing

Four bucks out feeding while I was cutting some trails and downed trees. While on the tractor, they hardly gave me much notice.
I often wonder how bad it is in terms of disturbing the deer if you drive a tractor to your stand. Or even driving a 4 wheeler to your stand. I knew a guy that had bad knees and parked his 4 wheeler right next to his ground blind. He shot more deer than anyone else did. Plus when he did shoot one all he had to do is tie it to his 4 wheeler and drive back out.
Jeff, using both gas and electric powered atv’s, I do believe I spook far less game with the electric. However, the steady drone of the diesel tractor seems to bother them far less than either of the atv’s. I assume this is due to being in farm country where they are regularly exposed to tractor activity.

In one of my out of the way spots.
Ya Trapper, I hate that spot. That thing starring at you all day on stand gets creepy after awhile.

The original 5 in our group in 1969. Only 2 remain today . We killed about 200 Deer .
Trapper, does the ice ever move around a bit during the thaw and end up depositing the rock somewhere else?
I don't think they just dump rocks like this around Hayward. I think they fill cribs. This is obviously a lot less labor. They also dump rip rap rocks on the ice for places with difficult land access to the job. Then do the final work after the water warms up.
Going through some security cam pics. Thought this one was cute.
The kids and I picked an ice cream pail of blackcaps today, this is our third batch of blackcap and raspberry jam!
I’m happy with my form out of the sand!
I’m happy with my form out of the sand!
Good question Jeff, Actually after all the rock is in place the ice is probably sagging close to 18". I then auger 10-20 holes around the perimeter. The water shoots out of them and fills the whole area and within 30 minutes the whole thing breaks up.
When they do cribs on the ice, they always pour charcoal around them. That will essentially cut the ice and hopefully the crib drops straight down.
Mom and Dad had pups today. 4 boys and 4 girls. Gonna get crazy soon
Good variety of pics on here! Congrats on being a dog grandpa pasq.

Had to drive through this in Nebraska on my way to my New Mexico Elk hunt.
I would feel bad for you except you are going elk hunting:). Is that all residual water from this spring or are they under water again?? What a nightmare they have been through
It has been underwater all summer per the local Lady working in a Valintine Neb gas station. Elk hunting is very slow in NM. Weather has been 85° - 90° every day. It hasn't rained in some time! Im hunting two differnt water holes and they are being used heavely after dark. Lots of pics on my game cams after dark.
The camera caught these 2 ladies with good timing. The one on the left has quite the pooch and looks more like a kangaroo.
That is a cool and unique pic.
First year putting cam out on public, getting excited for the season!
Lmao camp! It’s doe 30332
Fall colors aren't worth a sh*t today.
Just north of Birchwood, Washburn County.
BillB, now that would be a very difficult shot. At least it wasn't a bear with his front feet on the third rung.
6 Bucks sparring and 1 onlooker.
Jeff - no kidding! I had four all around me last night, all smallish does though. Still cool
Little late to the party but a pretty cool pic of a squirrel checking out the trail camera
Picture I took this summer from the lake
Einstein didn't invent it, Frank Lloyd didn't design it, and Bob Vila didn't build it. But I still think this is one of the best little buildings in camp and a great place to go.

These eagles beat the wolves and coyotes to this gut pile.
If I was this turkey I'd tread very lightly.
DT, can that be real? In WI? Ya gotta be kidding!
Tracks always look more impressive in clay or mud as they leave every detail. Cool track though

Unique tree near my stand that saved me opening morning. Trees & undergrowth were so weighted down w. wet snow that I could not find my tree until I stumbled upon the tree again and got my bearing.
