It's not baiting DH, it's the best way to take a head count! Always nice to see bucks in velvet, cool pics. If I ever get some free time to check my cams I'll be happy to add to the thread. Never a bad time for trail cam pics.

I love that picture of the two deer fighting.
I checked one the other day that was soaking since February, tons of pics, all does. Going to put a few out in new spots way back in the corner of this WMA where my buddy and I jumped 15+ deer during turkey season.

I just put a trophy rock out this weekend with a cam on it. I will be putting 3-4 more out over the next couple of weeks and let the cams soak. Hopefully have some pics in a month or so to contribute. I jumped a nice buck during turkey season where I shot my big one and the other 8pt this past season under my tree. Very early growth, but it looked like he had redbull cans growing out past his ears already and he was big bodied with a white face. Probably the other nice 8 that showed up late season on my cam the last week of the year.

Nice Pics . Set a few cameras out and did a little trail cutting on Monday, the pollen was so heavy out there! Nice to get out in the woods though. Hope to get some nice pics.

Sticks Problem for us guys out here. If we travel out there to public land and scout out some areas. It looks like the majority of the acreage is crops and little huntable land. Hate to get out there and find out all you locals set up stands to keep the tourists out !!! Lol

Very nice sNs. My first hunt in MO was a random shot in the dark near Kirksville. I talked to a farmer who rented me a cabin (shack really) and access to his property. Very affordable. He showed me around and then I was on my own. I didn't kill a deer on that trip but I saw many that I passed. It was a great hunt. It's nice filling your tag but I'm also in it for the bowhunting adventure. Hope you have luck out there this fall.

Very true. Out west they told me to be confident at 40+ yards as it’s wide open. Crawled on my belly before I shot my antelope. Back east hunting whitetail most shots are under 20 from above. Do you have any traveling planned this season?

I hunt CT in Sept and this year I drew a deer tag in Wyoming. I’m hunting there the 3rd week of Sept. I also get invited to PA in Nov and Jan by a good buddy. It’s an awesome time. Elk is high on my list too. Been twice, CO and WY, but still chasing. Building points in between. I’ll keep you posted as we go and you do the same. Can’t wait.

Sling. Sounds like plenty of room out there!!! Wish it wasn’t so far. I would go on a trip every year but with 3 kids at home it has to be somewhat close. SE Ohio is as far as I would make it and that was tough in the wife when I went

Got 4 cams out over the long weekend. I put out trophy rocks and Big Tine blocks. We'll see. I won't check them until mid August now. Give them a good early summer soak.
