Not great odds for me either, having cashed-out nearly 90 bonus points in the last few years. I don't have too many points for anything anymore, so it will likely be OTC for me.

Marvin, were you ever able to access the area for your bison hunt? I know that the snow was a major problem on the early hunt this year. We just got back from my daughters hunt, as of yesterday I think 3 or maybe 4 bulls had been killed on the third hunt.

We were finally able to get in (with 4WD) after almost 6 weeks of the 8 week hunt had passed. The first little bull was seen, and killed, on the third from the last day. One more young bull was taken on the last day. Both were killed within a few yards of the park boundary. Almost 90% of the 25 hunters (including me) never saw a bison. The snow depth kept the animals from being able to get to the border of the park, just like it prevented us on the other side. The last three days of the hunt was the only time I saw consecutive days of sunshine without snowing during the entire hunt. The weather was finally forecast to improve at the very end of our hunt, so we expected the later hunters to do better than us. How did your daughter do?

She killed a a bull. No giant, but she is happy with it. All bison are big. It was plenty big enough for me since we had to pack it out 3/4 of a mile in the dark. My back may never be the same. The second hunt 5 of 12 hunters killed. On hers the third hunt, as of yesterday we heard that 3 and possibly a 4th bull had been killed. There was one bozo up there hunting with a bow, that after wounding his second bison admitted he has never killed anything with a bow before. 28 yards on the first, not sure on the second.
