We’re on our way to long time UBP sponsor to hunt Bear at Ron Henry’s Bear Camp. Bsked and I are rolling up rt81 just south of Syracuse. We have Walt following us also. We are meeting up with mike Foust in a while on the road. Daryl, bskeds brother in law is up the road in front of us too.

Back in the states. Crossed the border without any issues.

We arrived to meet Ron Henry at his fish camp. He had our camp hand Ben with him

We bought our licenses and headed further up the road to the black river camps. We arrived in time to unload 2 quads in short order. We sent bsked and the priest out to put cameras out while mike, Walt and I sent up camp

Well, Friday evening the camera guys got back and the camp was set up. Ready for Saturday mornings first ride out on the quads to set stands and bait. Had a good meal and got to our bunks after a long day.

Saturday morning we all got out to check stand sites , put up stand and check cameras. Multiple baits had been hit. Mike chose a bait out on the Manitu road. Daryl chose #19, aka the Princess bait. They wanted me and Walt to pick a bait, neither of us wanted to slight the other , so I suggested we even/ odds it and the loser has to make a choice. I lost and made the choice of bait #13, Walt took F1 and Brian went with the Nelson bait.
We were set after hanging stands for the sat evening sit.
Back to camp we went. I’ll post a few pics of our transportation and of the area.
