Just read that we open 10/7 in Zone 10. For some reason I thought it was 10/1.

Last year was 10/1 because it was the first Monday in October

Still great to have that early start, even a week later will work. Having that canopy of leaves last year was awesome, find the right tree and you can almost disappear in the hard woods. T minus 3 months! :-)

Sept 15 cant come soon enough... 10 weeks :)! I think the start has to do with Thanksgiving. The archery season is anchored now to end the saturday after Thanksgiving... So it's 6 weeks prior to Z9 west and 8 weeks prior for Z10 East. Must be what caused the discrepancy this to last year BC?

Wapiti Is that one of the new lawn chair stands out? I hear they are super comfortable and a lot lighter than conventional stands! Couple of tie downs and your good to go! Lol
