I am having a hard time waiting. I just keep shooting everyday and every time I start getting discouraged biking I just start thinking about big bulls.

seeing lots of nice bulls already. hauled in 6 tree stands too. start hauling water in soon. been hiking 6 days out of 7 every week since I drew

Getting ready for and leading up to September is indeed part of the joy of bowhunting! Shooting every day as others are (the killzone on my 3d target can't take much more), working out. Scouted last weekend, with lots more scouting to do. Picking maps apart. Talking elk every chance I get with whoever, whenever and wherever. (Some don't understand that, but you do) Started calling recently. (My goal is to call a herd bull in and kill him). Not to mention that I would guess that 90-100% of my thoughts while awake are spent visualizing different scenarios and when I'm sleeping, bulls are screaming thru my dreams.. Elk hunting with a bow is absolutely tops on my list fo sho ;)
