RC prints his own doe tags. He semds mine out in a white envelope. Which reminds me to order a couple extra for the 3 extra Sundays.

That is what needs to be done, Ron.
Hopefully it gets initiated.

When i bought my licence the guy asked me if i wanted my bonus turkey tag for next spring . So far the rules states you can buy it up to the day before . He said you buy it any time after the season opens that i find hard to beleive . i will check on that one for sure .

I was pleased I didn't have to lick the stupid thing this year.
I thought that was a major leap forward.
Ron, that's the most logical doe permit issuing system I've heard. I agree.

The best way to implement Ron's idea, is to get the PGC to look into it. Then all hunters need to oppose it. I mean vocally, letters, emails, phone calls. We are then assured of the PGC adopting it, given their record of going against hunter wishes.
On a more serious note, I think I hate the yellow app that comes with the license more than the pink envelopes. They are damn near impossible to write on. I went thru a half dozen pens before I found one that I could use. Then a few more when my son filled out his. I really wish we could get into the 1990's.....

Red- they changed that last year! (No more ripping off the perforated ends either) Only took them what- 40 years? To refine them! ;-)

Still haven't received my license via the online system but my wife did on Sat and we both ordered them minutes apart on same day, lol, but they sure took my money. Such a flawed system.

Ron, if you didn’t have TRESPASSERS ON THE BRAIN you would have noticed mention in several different threads about a bill making it’s way thru the legislative process to get rid of the pink envelopes. ;-)
Hint: “NO MORE PINKS” : )

Many people hunt several units, under Ron's plan, you could only hunt one. Flawed idea

I was at the Post Office yesterday to buy stamps and the guy in front of me in line had his pink envelope and was buying stamps for it. I told him maybe next year there wouldn’t BE any Pink Envelopes. His response was: “THANK GOD! I hate filling these stupid things out every year!”

I just call RC every year. Problem solved. We don't need no stinking pink envelopes!

The PGC figures how many does they want killed and the number of tags it takes. Pretty simple. Right now, we have units that barely sell out and you want to restrict hunter opportunity even more? Stupidity.
