As a fringe benefit of my new expanded work area of Iowa/Minnesota, was able to stop by the Pope & Young Museum in Chatfield today. Got a personal tour by curator Larry Streiff. They got a ton of cool and novelty stuff in there. Fred Bear & Ishi stuff interesting. Loved seeing the bow collection and the funny one was the Baker climbing stand with 1984 brochure in mint condition. I am lucky to have survived a retooled Baker my cousin gave me when I was learning in 1991! ?? Larry mentioned he was actually headed to Edinburg, Indiana tomorrow to instruct a measurer’s class.

Been a few years since I made it to Chatfield. The museum is incredible. Larry takes alot of pride in that place...as well he should.
