Another campout and traditional 3-D shoot is almost here. (Offically starts 7-11) Thursday thru Sunday (7-14). Pine Hill Sportsman's Club, 1040 Coal City Road, Kennerdell, 16374. Lots of vendors and the usual side events plus many different courses to shoot.

Dave, got me an Oregon Mountain Outfitters external frame wall tent before last years' Pine Hill, and it goes up and ready in about 5 minutes. I think that's the brand. Royville might be gerrymandered or redistricted, so I'll just set up where ever it looks somewhat flat, and away from the huge black snakes from 2 years ago....!!!! I'll lose an arrow in your honour...

Kathy and I set up our camper yesterday. Place is looking good. Chise and I will be right beside Ron's outdoor wood stove. Chise has been spending all his weekends making bows. I hear there are some good vendors again. I might actually shoot this year.

Biggest crowd I have ever seen here on a Friday morning. Randy made it. There are at least 4 bow vendors and Ernie Chipinni is selling arrows. Dennis is selling his leather stuff.

Roy, the camping areas were a bit more stretched out this year, so to look at things, it was difficult for a layman to say. Maybe Jack or Jerry or Ron will chime in with the official stats....
A second shower was installed, which was a welcome addition!

When I left yesterday, there were 208 names on the sheet. I'd say 90% were shooters. About 70 or so campers. Had well over 100 targets. And there was no rain after mid-day Thursday.
