Any Advice on where to start looking. Pines or flats? Is there a place to get away from the roads a few miles?

Start in the pines,if the snows deep head to the flats. Deer will have migrated down.Good Luck!

13b archery. Aug 23rd to sept 12th. I had the Kaibab bison hunt earlier this year and wiped out my vacation. I will scrape together about 14-17 days of hunting and one or two scouting trips.

Good luck to you! I’d check everywhere but would imagine you’ll find most of those bucks up high during archery season. Unless there’s water everywhere.

fred..did you harvest a Bison?my father did in the 70's. Once in a lifetime hunt.

Dirtclod - I was one of the two lucky ones that filled there tag on the early hunt. Last day, I had put my bow away to go home. The story should be in next months Huntin Fool.
