Trail cam restrictions?

I just heard that Nevada will be outlawing the use of trail cameras on public land between August 1 and December 31. Can anyone tell me if this info is correct and why this law was necesary? Info appreciated.

It is true. NDOW sent out an email as a reminder this week.

Its absolutely true.1 Reason is people put them up and think that marks there spot. They make since back east on private, been hunting here for 34 years and have never used one or needed one. Get good glass and use them.
