Hey, just moved up from Arizona this past year to Alexandria and was curious if anyone had any input on where to go out hunting this upcoming season. Any input would really be appreciated.

I'm about an hour southwest of you. Not sure of any specific areas but there is good deer habitat north of you around Parkers Prairie.

I live about 15 miles NW of Alexandria and there is a lot of decent public land all around the Alex area. Go south by Forada is a good one. its called the forada swamp for a reason its wet but some decent deer in there. depending on how far you want to drive there is a lot of public to hunt. That's all I hunt and I have hunted them enough I do fairly well on the public land. cant always see or get a giant but one year I got a 150 inch nice one. If you are bow hunting public you are fine but once the guns come out they are quite full of orange army.
