I had my 6 year old Grandson over last night with no other distractions around. As hard as I tried to convince him to shoot from 10 yards I couldn't succeed. He wanted to shoot from where Papa shoots from. We worked on proper nocking of an arrow, drawing the bow so the arrow doesn't fall off the rest (no fancy whisker biscuit ), instinctively shooting the bow, the proper way to pull arrow out of the target or the lawn on the misses and carrying the arrows back to the shooting line. We both had a blast as he shot until it got too dark. More practice planned for tonight.

I have a 1-1/2 year old grandson that I have been already working on. Made him a stick and string bow, stick arrow with tape fletching. He flings it a couple times then he is done, LOL. Good/Bad thing is, he really got into watching elk hunting videos with me. He even bugles with a tube!! Gotta love it.
