Carney, second hunt. Our guide says there are lots of bears and a good berry crop. Not so good for the baits.

So irritated not being drawn again. Watching bears walk all around my place. Maybe next year.

Check over on the Wisconsin Bowsite. There’s a thread about a whopper killed in Minnesota with a bow. 840 pounds live and 718 dressed.

Well just got back from my hunt. Had a great time lots of bears around, big bears too but just couldn't put it all together. It's going to be a long 5-8 year wait to go back.

No bear for me but my buddy shot a nice one. 185# dressed out. My bait got hit every night by four different bears on my trail camera finely on Friday my last day a small yearling bear came in at 3:30 PM and was on my bait for 45 minutes. It was just too small maybe 100#. Will try again in a couple more years.
