Been out with my g'son this morning. Ran two bears and the other was too small. This afternoon and tomorrow I'm hoping should be good.

Guy around the corner from my house got one today. From the picture I would guess #200-250. He was pretty excited.

Hard to tell from the pic but the ears look small and a lot of space between them. That usually indicates a large bear.

Any bear will look big with a close up picture like this one, even with good clear pics bears can play tricks on a guy at times.

My g'son got his first bear. First time for me with the hounds on a kill. She dressed 237#'s and had a nice spirit mark. The guy with my g'son is just a great guy with kids.

I had this guy come in on opening day, too small and he winded me in like .3 seconds. Gonna throw out a little more scent next time.
