Looking to switch from the G5 Montec CS to either the new Striker V2 or these new Wasp Havalons. Any input?

I love the Muzzy Trocar HB Broadhead. Short tracking jobs every time and they fly super straight.

I had great luck with the Montec cs, I switched to vpa a few years back but wouldn’t hesitate to shoot the cs again

I shot my first deer last year with the CS and with full pass through there wasn’t much for blood, surely shot placement is key but it was a good shot, not much for a blood trail.

I like slick tricks for deer, nice big holes and sharp

I've had similar experiences with the Montec CS, wherein I made a good hit, found the dead deer, but there was a very sparse blood trail. Additionally, my brother shot a doe in the chest that left almost no blood and we only found it because he heard it when the doe fell and could vector the search to the correct area. I hear that the Wasp did well in some tests conducted by a YouTube channel that tests broadheads every year. Good luck

I don't think there is anything wrong with the Montecs. I shoot a similar head in the NAP Hellrazor. I like the style of head, a three blade solid head. I may gravitate toward the VPA heads though mainly because I think they are stronger. Same basic design though.
