Is it on par success wise as whitetail deer? I'm mainly hunting in the treeline. Anyone have experience?
Also is it too early for some light rattling? I know the rut hasn't started but curious if people have had any success during bow season

I've used it successfully in November, during rifle season

Yes. In November it works really well. Now? Probably not.

Try it and find out...then you'll know. I wouldn't do it, but you can.

I’d try it later in the year as others said. Did see 2 stud muley bucks yesterday that locked horns and pushed each other around a little bit. They weren’t really fighting aggressively, just pushing each other around, was cool to watch though as I tracked blood from this buck I had arrowed the previous evening.
