Airport Hunt

So I found out yesterday I was picked as an alternate for the airport hunt. Doing some research it appears the success rate is low. Maybe 7 deer reported for 60 hunters?

I am looking for any experiences on this hunt.

Hunted it for years before they posted the North Fields. Tons of deer in there and plenty of big buck back then. A couple rounds of EHD have the populations a little low, but I would think they are still huntable. Park by the field on Hookstown Grade road. Walk straight in paralleling the Highway. At end of field is a nice Oak Flat above a crabapple thicket and a lower golden rod field. It was a great spot at one time, but they have drilled some wells in there and put gas lines. That kind of shuffled the deck I'm sure. Good Luck, hope you get that big one.
