Trying, lol. The deer were really moving this morning! I saw 5 from the stand. Including a real nice bachelor group of 3 bucks that were from 120" to 135". Fun to see!

My morning was slow but they were really moving this evening. Felt good to get back out. Lost one three years ago and kind of lost the desire. Haven’t bowhunted in 3 years until this morning.

Its always tough when one gets away. A lot goes through your mind of wjat youbcould have done differently. These animals a desinged tough you would be shocked what they can live through. If you didnt find it theres a chance it may have made it.

My son shot this young buck on the controlled archery hunt at Arcadia lake. We each passed up smaller does on Sunday because we just didn’t feel like spending the day cutting up another deer.

I was able to rattle this one in on the 10th. Quartering to shot the first exit was by his hang down then it went into the off side back leg and broke the tibia and complete pass through. 50 yard nose dive!

Took the rifle out of the closet for the salt plains wilderness hunt with my son, Zach. He got a doe so we got 3 deer in a day and a half in a new place. You had to get a doe first before you could get a buck. As far as we know this was the only buck taken.

Nice job. Took my son there a few weeks ago on a youth hunt. Great place. We couldn't get it done on the doe. Saw a lot of bucks and one really nice one.
