Bonus tag use

Can a hunter use their bonus tag in the sherburne wildlife refuge prior to filling their general tag in a different zone? The SWR is a 1 deer zone.

Sounds like you answered your own question check the regs and call the refuge manager. Yes there are places in MN where archer gets one deer-period.

SWR is hunters choice, so you have to use your regular tag on a deer there. I have the same issue in 248 where I usually hunt. All the zones around it are intensive. If I shoot a deer in 248, I have to use my regular tag. I can then hunt the other zones with bonus tags.
