Looking for a sherpa?

Well not quite, but close enough. Guys, I have a question for you. I am looking to settle in Montana in about five years with my wife. In the meantime I would like to learn how to hunt in Montana country. Would it be crazy to offer to join someone out there next year to just tag along, watch, cook food if camping, and help to haul out the meat? I think it would be a hell of a lot of fun, and just a great way to learn, while potentially helping a fellow hunter. Pete
