Have seen none of it in 8S. Lots of sign that the bucks are ready, but the dance hasn't started yet.

Saw several bucks chasing on 10/26 and have seen a few bucks cruising and have heard grunting on several sits since. The rut is defiantly on.

Here in my part of 7M bucks have been chasing and scraping for over a week. Funny thing is all I have been seeing is 2 1/2+ year old bucks(not complaining) but it is definitely different. If I could only get one to give me a shot.

On Sunday I had a doe under my stand waiting for her to walk out and get a shot at her with my recurve and a stupid spike came 5 minutes later on her tail and chased her away. I could have shot the spike but I'll shoot does for meat.

9H this morning on way to work, three different yearlings in different locations chasing across road, one nose to the ground looking... one mature 8 pt chasing a doe he waited for me to pass by than crossed the road after her, its on!

Finally saw a chase on Wednesday afternoon. My # 2 ran a doe across the field into the goldenrod, and for a minute I thought she would bring him past me, but she went west instead.
