How’s the action been? I went out at 2 on Halloween and didn’t see a deer. It’s been pretty hit and miss for me so far

bucks cruising a bit later in the morning than usual. Some showing up daylight. Young ones following does, and had a 2 YO chase a doe full stampede by me at 2:45 yesterday. Not saying its in full swing yet, but maybe just getting started.

Halloween evening saw a nice 130-140 in cruising. Nov 1 in the morning had a doe in heat come by with 7 bucks all chasing, it was wild! After a couple hrs they all moved off and things got quiet. Saw 3 bucks yesterday pm all cruising.

It has been dead for me . I was seeing more bucks the last week of October than the last few days. I hunted Burnett county wi sat morning until noon it was slow. Sat tonight by home on the transition of standing corn/marsh/hardwoods. Historically a great spot for the first week in November but dead tonight. Hope things ramp up soon!

Raming I didn’t see any coyotes tonight but had them let loose right at dark before I got down.
Akf, glad to hear someone seeing some deer. The scrape line I was on tonight wasn’t fresh anymore like it was a week ago. Time to find fresh sign. Good luck!

Yesterday was incredible. 22 total deer, 9 bucks, and a buck fight right at dark. They were up and running all day long!

saw 6 different bucks on stand between Friday and Sunday. Only one was "chasing." All of them checked my mock scrape(during daylight) though.

I tagged a nice tall 8 on Oct 28th and had a bunch of chasing and bucks cruising in late October. Got a doe that was being chased on the 29th. I Havent been out since the 30th when I saw 4 bucks cruising including a real nice 10 - but I had no tag....Other buddies haven't seen much action at all though. They are in a different area.

Small bucks have been moving. Have been seeing them almost every sit the last couple weeks. Can't find a big buck though.

Ive seen bucks cruising and chasing does. Been slow the last couple days on evenings but have noticed lots of deer on the roads/ditches in the am.
