First timer central region for Turkey

I'm a first time hunter, and thought Turkey would be a good first opportunity. Although, I bought a central region Turkey license unknowingly that it is just for private lands. Anyone ever hunt Turkey in Utah, and on private lands that may know the best way of going about it?
