Well hope everyone had a good season. Bow season as we know it is about over . I had a good year. Will be out with my bow next week. We are lucky to finally have longer season with the earlier date and Sunday hunting. Can’t wait for the primitive season.

Sad time of year for me. Season didn't go great and this cold (as in sick) has kept me inside this week. I will be taking my granddaughter out hunting next week. When I'm with one of my grand kids, I'll carry a rifle, but when I hunt by myself I'll be carrying the recurve. Y'all have a great thanksgiving!

It’s always amazes me how I will see deer everyday of the year driving out our road except for the two weeks of rifle season where deer literally hide under the rocks and as soon as it is over I will see deer again. They are amazing creatures!

Heck, my season ended early due to me not paying attention while working in my garage and I tripped on an electrical cord on the floor and had about as hard a fall as I ever had. All of the bruises, etc. are healed up but I really sprained my shoulder and am having to work on it to get back to being able to shoot. Right now it's too sore to shoot my bow but it's coming along slowly. It's my bow arm that is affected. I did that once before a few years back and so I'm doing the same exercises I did then to get back to normal. Shoulders take time to heal. Fortunately I have plenty of time to be ready for our Feb. hog hunt, Wayne. LOL

Dave I fell like that at my cabin last year on a slippery board. Tore rotator cuff., labrum and bicep. Broke my wrist and chipped acromium. Had surgery and still doing exercises. It is slow. If it persists get an MRI. The only thing that shows what is wrong., good luck and take it slow, funny but we don't heal like we see to

This has been a tough season for me, have not shot an arrow. Passed on does and small bucks early when it was hot, had an encounter with an amazing buck so I have been concentrating on him the whole season. The only bonus to my season is I was blessed with my first grandchild, a boy 4 weeks ago. What an amazing feeling.
