Well, I’m in a tree for the last normal hunt of the year. Tomorrow all hell breaks loose/ all bets are off, etc... It’s been tough to kill em the last two weeks anyway. Not sure where I’ll sit tomorrow, we still have one place left where there is nearly zero gun hunting, maybe there but it is interesting to see how deer react and change with the shotgunners popping off all over the place Maybe I’ll kill tonight before all he’ll breaks loose

It is for me. I don't even own a rifle or shotgun. It's bow or nothing.

No nothing other then the Animals behavior during the gun season. Nothing there about you guys using rifles, no problems with that. It a re-shuffeling of the deck

I spent Saturday morning watching an escape route with my recurve on my lap. The shooting I was counting on from across the road never happened. I did jump a couple fawns when I took a walk to warm up. I left them be rather than push them into the fray.

Been switching between the recurve and the flint lock since rifle started. Passed shots on numerous does. I wont be in freezer replenishing mode until second season. Just happy to be out in the woods. Good luck to all!

Rained all morning then turned to snow. Thank goodness for the blinds.

Would of been a miserable sit all day without the blinds. Had my nephew out last 3 days. We stayed in truck till 11am then set up the blind.

Saturday was miserable as far as weather goes. I hunted until 10 am, snuck up to within 15 yards of a bedded spike. Went home, dried out and was back out from 1pm until dark, didn't see a deer. It was still better than work LOL.
