I just acquired a 70 acre piece of land to hunt next year and was wondering where the best place is to get a map of it so I know the boundaries. The owner says he can't find one and so what are my options? Are there any websites or should I just go to City Hall? Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Town hall, you will be able to get a boundary map or at least the last one that was recorded. They may charge you a couple bucks to print it.

Some towns have gis maps online. You could also use onx, gaia, huntstand. The free version of huntstand I believe gives you 10 property boundaries you choose. I use the free version of huntstand, also gaia and onx. I've used them in conjunction with my plot maps to check accuracy. They have been very accurate for me.

Town hall has tax records for property lines. They are, or at least were free when I used them. Jus go to the assessors office and they should have big huge maps that you can make small copies of for your property.
The other option is to get OnX app for your phone. $17.99 per year on Camofire.com most days when It’s on there.

Just go wherever you want and when the cops come they'll tell where the property lines are ;) Just kidding!

You don't use OnX? Best App for that Info, and plenty of others to use for free.

I prefer the HuntWise app. Half the cost of OnX.
