Last night. Was in early(1:15). Got down about 4pm to help the homeowner with a hose she was struggling with. Chatted for a few minutes and walked the 35 yds back to the tree, climbed and got re-set. 30 min later, here comes a yearling——>>. Bad move :))

Good job folks! Been trying to get rid of this nasty chest cold so I can get back in a stand.

I had a good morning yesterday. My dad walked around in the bottoms and kicked up two groups of deer. The first group of three came by my stand just out of range.
The big lead doe in the second group of 5-7 deer came within 25 yards. I was shooting just over some limbs and couldn’t psychologically convince myself to put my 30 yard pin on the branches. Ended up hitting her high and had to climb down and take a finishing shot as she had disappeared down over the side of the mountain.
My first late season archery deer on my home turf. Hopefully I’ll make it to hunt with my brother in Pittsburgh at the end of the month.

Harvested Dec 28th. He came right out of the thickets and did take his time checked the wind and walked in some high grass then another 15 yards into a big cut corn field. I was in a big tree out in the cut corn fired. This is our 5 buck in 3 years killed from this stand.

My son’s first deer. Taken on Tuesday January 14 from a ground blind. We weren’t in the blind 15 minutes before two does showed up. 5 minutes later she was down within sight.

Adding this guy to the list...even though it didn't end up being a bow kill, it definitely qualifies as improving future bowhunting opportunities...

It’s been the most productive late season I have ever experienced. This one presented itself on the second drive of the day. Made it 45-50 yards before piling up.

Thanks Perry. First time the late season proved more productive than the regular and early seasons combined.
