There will soon be a call to ban the evil black assault crossbows with high capacity quivers.

Not sure which I hate more - pit bulls or crossbows. So much bullcrap out there about both.
"They're lovable dogs." Bullcrap. Never hear about collies or beagles attacking people.
"They're just like bows." Bullcrap. They're just like rifles.

Appears to have been the dogs owner who was behind a door and in no immediate danger from the dogs...neighbor should have just called police.

Pit bulls are good as long as you respect their genetic potential. A few own them to bolster their fragile egos. Most pit bulls I've been in contact with were darn nice animals. However they can be the dog of choice when certain people have something to hide.

Their bite is obviously worse than their bark. I owned English Setters for decades and my wife and I had a quail pen and trained them ourselves. We hunted grouse and woodcock in the covers adjacent to rt.2 in Maine from Lincoln to Houlton. When the flights were in it was the great American Shootout using the old Parker. Enduring memories with good people.
