Is anyone seeing any sign of the turkey rut ramping up ? Anyone witnessing much gobbling or seeing toms displaying for the hens ? Not seeing much sign in my part of the county yet but the turkey population is low and the birds are only found in certain areas with the right habitat so maybe I'm just not scouting the right areas. I'm in northern Ohio.

Saw two toms this morning, all fanned out, with about a dozen hens, in a small hay field. Have been hearing gobbling the past couple mornings. I'm in Coshocton county.

Monday the 9th buddy sent me pix of 2 strutting longbeards with a bunch of hens in his back yard... Said one of gobblers bred a hen then...
